Community revitalisation is a set of social intervention activities aimed at developing citizen participation to articulate community processes. It promotes and encourages participation. It also empowers people, making them protagonists of their lives. At ACATHI, together with our wonderful volunteers, we carry out different activities with this objective in mind, through leisure groups, language classes, sports, living libraries, fund raising and other actions of visibility and dissemination.

Community mediation, for its part, is a type of alternative conflict and dispute resolution to resolve issues through collaboration between citizens and neighbours. This mediation offers an alternative to court processes. A third party leads the mediation process with the aim of finding a solution agreed upon by both parties, based on dialogue.

At ACATHI we work with those from the association that need mediation assistance, either as part of their reception housing in cooperation with the Bon Pastor neighbourhood, or in the properties owned outright by ACATHI.
